Dr. Dre‘s hands have been busy as of late – even if the long-delayed follow-up to The Chronic may be MIA for good.

He was honoured last night by the Wall Street Journal‘s 2014 Innovator Awards along with partner Jimmy Iovine with a presentation from partner Eminem for the Entrepreneur Award.

This comes on the heels of the Apple acquisition of Beats Electronics, making Dre the richest rap personality in the business today and the launch of the USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for Arts, Technology and Business of Innovation at the University of Southern California.
